Best Vegan Blueberry Donuts

It's either difficult to find or super expensive to purchase a vegan donut, so why not make a healthier version of a donut from the comfort of your home. This recipe is super easy, yet tastes like it came from a bakery.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup pure cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup plant based milk
  • 1/4 cup vegan butter melted
  • 1 cup blueberries fresh or frozen

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a donut pan and set aside.
  • Add all dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix until combined.
  • Add all wet ingredients to a separate mixing bowl and mix until combined.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and use a spatula to mix until a batter is formed.
  • Fold in the blueberries and pour the batter into the donut pan.
  • Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool before removing from the pan. Serve and enjoy!
